Four friends from Warsaw, Poland, began their entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with a makeshift gym in their basement. Initially driven by passion, not profit, they started a YouTube channel, "Warszawski Koks," documenting their workouts.
Their initial success came from selling merchandise, including t-shirts. The brand "Warszawski Koks" had limitations, leading to a rebranding as "Dzik" (Wild Boar), which resonated better nationally.
Currently, the majority of their revenue comes from selling food, supplements, and clothing, notably their energy drink, "Dzik Energy." They initially struggled to secure investment for the energy drink but ultimately launched it successfully in 2021, benefiting from the prior success of similar ventures.
The timing of Dzik Energy's launch proved beneficial, following the success of other influencer-created products. The company prioritized distribution in major retail chains. Their focus is on healthy, functional foods tailored to fitness enthusiasts.
Future plans include expanding their supplement line into major retailers, scaling their clothing brand, and expanding their network of free outdoor gyms across Poland. They value their independence and control over their brand.
