A new equestrian and feed store, 'Reitsport- und Futterladl,' has opened in Traunstein, Germany, in the Maximilianstraße. The store is run by Sabine Kepplinger, her husband Mehmet Hartmann, and Cornelia Abfalter.
The idea for the store originated at a horse show in Munich. Kepplinger and Abfalter recognized the lack of similar stores in the region, prompting them to fill this gap in the market.
The closure of other local equestrian stores, such as HKM, highlighted the need for a new shop. Kepplinger and her husband previously operated a mobile feed service, indicating existing demand.
Abfalter's family has a long history in horse breeding, strengthening the team's equestrian expertise.
The store offers high-quality equestrian equipment from brands like Ariat, Eskadron, and Cavallo, emphasizing German-made products. It also provides personal consultation and a welcoming space for horse enthusiasts to connect.
The owners aim to create a community hub, offering consultation on horse feed, and providing a social space for horse owners. They hope for continued success and long-term growth.
