Fulbright Scholarships for Andalusian Students

Nine Andalusian graduates and researchers, including three from Malaga, have received Fulbright-Junta de Andalucia scholarships to study or conduct predoctoral research at prominent US academic institutions during the 2025-2026 academic year. The average scholarship amount is €60,000.

Malaga Students

  • Federico Lozano: Pursuing research in Telecommunications Engineering at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
  • María Inocencia Perea Moreno: Continuing research in Medieval History at the University of Saint Louis.
  • Francisco Rodríguez Sánchez: Conducting research in contemporary poetry at Florida State University.

These scholarships are part of a larger initiative by the Consejería de Universidad, Investigación e Innovación to promote academic and research excellence among young Andalusian talent.
