ST. LOUIS — Four people were found shot to death at an apartment complex on the city's south side Sunday morning.

The two women and two men were discovered about 8:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Schirmer Street. They were between the ages of 30 and 50.

Their names were not released.

Police said they found firearms and drugs at the apartment.

Chief Robert Tracy told reporters Sunday that investigators were looking for any witnesses and video to help solve the crime.

The apartment is near Alaska Park, and southeast of Germania Avenue and Interstate 55.

St. Louis police on Monday said the four deaths bring to 48 the total number of homicides for the year.
