La Procura di Venezia ha deciso di fare appello contro la sentenza che ha condannato all'ergastolo Filippo Turetta, il ventitreenne padovano responsabile dell'uccisione dell'ex fidanzata, Giulia Cecchettin, l'11 novembre del 2023.
Alla corte di appello i pm chiedono di riconoscere a Turetta anche le aggravanti, ovvero la crudeltà e lo stalking di Filippo verso Giulia, che la Corte d'Assise aveva invece escluso.
"Ci rincuora il fatto he la Procura abbia impugnato la sentenza - ha commentato l'avvocato Stefano Tigani, difensore di Gino Cecchettin - perché conferma che la richiesta di impugnazione del nostro collegio difensivo in difesa della famiglia Cecchettin era fondata".
