Susan Baines, 60, of 1145 Chester St. apartment 109, has been charged with aggravated and simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, tampering with evidence and harassment after it is alleged that she stabbed a male acquaintance in the right shoulder outside her home about 6:20 p.m. on April 23, city police said in a criminal complaint. The victim was treated at UPMC Williamsport. Following her arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey, Baines was initially jailed, but has since been released on $50,000 bail. She has also waived her preliminary hearing.
