Vivo, a telecommunications company, has successfully connected around 700 Magazine Luiza (Magalu) physical stores across 20 Brazilian states. This large-scale project provides Magalu with connectivity, cloud computing, voice services, and intelligent networks.
This contract establishes Vivo as Magalu's primary digital partner, supplying the essential infrastructure to support the retailer's omnichannel strategy. The solution package includes Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud services, SD-WAN for intelligent network management, and corporate voice services integrated with customer service systems.
Vivo's business-to-business (B2B) sector now accounts for 21.6% of its total revenue. Cloud computing is a major driver of this expansion, generating R$2.1 billion in revenue over the past 12 months—a 38.3% increase. Digital services (cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, and big data) collectively generated R$4.4 billion, representing a 25.5% increase and 7.7% of Vivo's total revenue.
Karina Baccaro, Vivo's B2B Sales Director, highlighted the robust and uninterrupted connections provided to Magalu, emphasizing the partnership's role in large-scale digitalization projects.
