A joint operation by Agde municipal police and the national police led to multiple arrests and infractions at a barbershop on Rue Ernest-Renan. The business was found to be operating without proper documentation, a card payment system, and the manager's absence.
One individual was arrested for drug possession and for violating an Obligation de Quitter le Territoire Français (OQTF), an expulsion order.
Another arrest involved the illegal possession of a protected bird, a goldfinch, known for its melodious song and high value (around €1000) on the black market.
Lors de cette opération de contrôle menée conjointement par la police municipale d’Agde et la police nationale, un cas de détention illégale d’un animal protégé a également été relevé.
Un coiffeur et barbier de la rue Ernest-Renan a dernièrement fait l’objet d’un contrôle de la part des forces de polices agathoises. Au cours de cette opération, les agents ont relevé plusieurs infractions, notamment le manque de justificatif concernant l’exploitation du commerce, d’un dispositif de paiement par carte bancaire, ainsi que l’absence du gérant.
Par ailleurs, les fonctionnaires ont également procédé à deux interpellations : la première pour détention de produits stupéfiants doublée d’une Obligation de quitter le territoire français (OQTF), la seconde pour détention illégale d’un animal protégé, à savoir un chardonneret, une espèce d’oiseau qui se revend près d’un millier d’euros sur le marché noir, très prisée pour son chant mélodieux.
