Players from newly crowned state champions Sinton and London each earned UIL All-State Baseball Tournament team honors, which were released on Sunday.Â
In Class 4A, Sinton had five players earn spots on the team, including championship game Most Valuable Player Kaden McCoy. Also earning all-tournament honors was Blake Mitchell (pitcher), Rylan Galvan (catcher), Marco Gonzales (second base) and Cannon Chester (outfielder).Â
Sinton won the Class 4A title with a 9-0 victory against Argyle on Thursday at Disch-Falk Field in Austin. It was the program's fourth state championship.Â
In Class 3A, newly crowned state champs London also had five players named to the all-tournament team. Blake Watters was the MVP as Kade Budd (pitcher), Jayden Martinez (catcher), Landon Salinas (first base) and Mason Jacob (shortstop) earned spots on the team.Â
London won the Class 3A title with a 16-13 victory against Brock on Saturday at Dell Diamond. It was London's first state championship for the program and first team title for the school.Â
