This report summarizes various incidents handled by the Ripley County Sheriff's office from April 8th to April 13th.
On April 8 the sheriff’s office received a report that clothing, fishing poles, and tools were stolen from a vacant house on Z Hwy. in Gatewood.

On April 10 deputies responded to a residence on Bluebird Ln.. for a trespassing complaint. The victim was alerted to a vehicle in the driveway by a home surveillance system. Deputies contacted the occupants of the vehicle, determined they were authorized to be on the premises, and released them.

On April 10 deputies responded to a report of livestock in the roadway on 160W in Briar. The animals were removed from the roadway prior to officer arrival.

On April 10 the sheriff’s office responded to a property line dispute on Ripley 142E-16.

On April 10 the Missouri Department of Conservation reported a backpack blower missing from a storage unit on Ripley 160E-2. The unit was found locked, and nothing else was reported missing.

On April 10 Adam McKinney, 38, of Doniphan was arrested at his residence on Ripley 142E-20. McKinney was booked on a Ripley County warrant for hunting/fishing with a suspended, revoked, or denied permit ($100.00 cash bond) and he was lodged in the Ripley County Jail.

On April 10 Kaedyn Harp, 19, of Doniphan was arrested at his residence on Ripley NN-1. Harp was booked on a Ripley County warrant for possession of a controlled substance ($20,000.00 cash only bond) and he was lodged in the Ripley County Jail.

April 11 the sheriff’s office responded to a residence on Ripley Route K for a domestic disturbance. The parties involved said there had been no physical violence, and no one wanted to press charges.

On April 11 the sheriff’s office responded to a residence on Jasmine Ln. for a burglary complaint. The victim said someone broke into a storage shed on the property.

On April 13 the sheriff’s office responded to a residence on Ripley U-5 for a violation of a protection order. The victim reported harassment by a former spouse in violation of the protection order.

On April 13 maintenance staff at Lone Star School reported a burglary. The surveillance system was damaged and cash was stolen from the office. The investigation continues.

On April 13 a resident in Naylor reported she was bitten by a dog when she tried to separate two dogs fighting in front of her residence.
