The 58-year-old appeared for sentencing at the Capital court on Tuesday, where Sheriff John Cook placed her on a community payback order with an unpaid work element of 100 hours.
Aston, who has since moved to Peebles, has two further bail breach matters to face but Sheriff Cook said that, if she complied with the order he imposed, she would most likely be admonished on those cases later this year.
Aston and her husband David Aston, 56, were previously convicted of carrying out a campaign of harassment against their former neighbours on Blackadder Crescent over a three-year period.
