A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an FDNY firetruck in Brooklyn's Marine Park on Sunday night around 11:55 p.m. The motorcyclist was riding west on Avenue U when the collision occurred with the southbound firetruck on Flatbush Avenue.
The firetruck had its lights and sirens activated at the time of the accident. Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Brookdale University Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. The 49-year-old FDNY driver remained at the scene. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and have not yet released the identity of the deceased motorcyclist.

Medics rushed the motorcyclist to Brookdale University Hospital but he could not be saved. Police have not yet released his name.
The 49-year-old FDNY member driving the firetruck stayed at the scene. Cops are still investigating the crash.
