It sits on a heart-shaped plot, has six bedrooms, boasts lush gardens and has proved a tranquil constant in Heather Locklear's once-troubled life.
Seen in exclusive Daily Mail photos, this is the home that friends say has become a much-needed place of tranquility for the Melrose Place actress who is currently in a 'good place' after battling to turn her life around following a series of well-publicized meltdowns.
Glamorously blonde Locklear has lived on the California property since moving in with ex-husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. But it wasn't until she hit rock-bottom in June 2023, balancing on the ledge of a building, that she became determined to get back on track.
And now, happy and healthy, the the 63-year-old former alcoholic is living her best life as she shares the custom-built home with her daughter, Ava Sambora, 27, and her Maltese dog, Mister.
'Heather is a real homebody,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'She's up there on her mountaintop and she likes to stay home with her dog – it's a real sanctuary for her. She loves the garden.'
But the house, which is worth an estimated $7 million and sprawls across 8,000 square feet, hasn't always been the refuge it is today.Â

In 2018, the residence was declared a 'hazard' by the Ventura County Fire Department following a string of alcohol-fueled bust-ups – including one that saw her crash her Porsche into a pylon after downing a bottle of tequila.
In the report, Locklear herself was described as 'suicidal' and 'violent.' It went on to read: 'Hazard on file for this address. Resident has threatened to shoot deputies and has one handgun registered to her.'
Locklear was arrested twice that year: once following a blowout fight with then-boyfriend Chris Heisser and the second time for attacking cops who responded to the crash.
The actress was then placed on a 5250 psychiatric hold, which lasts for up to 14 days and includes a five-day detox as well as a mental evaluation.
'The night [of the arrest], she was so hammered,' a source close to Locklear told the Daily Mail at the time. 'The police came Sunday at six and then left.
'When they came back at midnight, it was because she tried leaving, she tried driving out in her Porsche. She smashed her Porsche into a pylon in her gate.'
The backyard of the property is equipped with lots of loungers for sunbathing around a spacious pool, which also includes a built-in hot tub
The 8,115-square-foot property, which appears to be built on a heart shaped piece of land, has become 'a real sanctuary for her' in the years since her meltdown, insiders tell the Daily MailÂ
These days Locklear is said to be in a much better place and her home is no longer a police hotspot, thanks to her fiancĂ© and minder's supportÂ
Outside off the pool area there's a massive seven-seat table that seems like a perfect spot to entertain guests as well as a cozy outdoor fire pit with a chimney and six armchairs
Although Locklear is now sober and successfully avoided going to jail over the drunken meltdowns, her recovery hasn't been easy.
In 2023, she sparked concern again when she was pictured sobbing in public and balancing on the ledge of an office building, with a source telling the Daily Mail that she had relapsed into boozing.
But despite the setback, Locklear has managed to overcome her alcohol abuse with the support of on-again-off-again fiancé Heisser and her sober minder Bryan, who was pictured shopping with her at a local Pavilions grocery store on Valentine's Day.
A neighbor told the Daily Mail that Bryan is frequently seen at the home and is 'the kindest man you'll ever meet.'
Her home - which she has now decorated in soothing shades of cream and beige and accented with purple - has also proved a healing refuge.
The actress has come along way since suffering a series of health and legal troubles and is now living happily at the residence with daughter Ava Sambora, 27, (left) fiancé Chris Heisser (right) and her Maltese dog, Mister
The couple appear to be going strong despite their past issues. Photos shared on Heather's Instagram show the two curled up on the sofa with her beloved dog on her lapÂ
Photos posted on Instagram show her enjoying the huge home - she can be seen curled up on a velvet sofa with Heisser, smiling in the garden with Ava and playing with Mister.
Her property is also the backdrop for many of the videos she posts to social media, including one shared last November that shows her looking happy and heathy while sitting cross-legged in a plush velvet chair.
Other snaps give followers glimpses of her marble kitchen counter tops and her vast, white-painted bedroom, which looks out over the grounds and is decorated with a bronze chandelier and floor-length cream curtains.
One photo posted to honor Heisser's birthday in September 2023 shows him shirtless and smiling, making the most of Locklear's California king bed.
The palm tree-covered grounds also feature a large swimming pool and a home gym – which she occasionally posts pictures of herself using.
It's been nearly two years since Locklear sparked concerns for her health and welfare after she was seen looking disheveled and behaving erratically in Malibu in June 2023

She was also pictured bizarrely trying to balance herself along the ledge of an office building wearing a pair of flip-flops and gripping onto pillars for support

Regardless of where they were taken, all the photos show Locklear – who has been to rehab more than 20 times – looking relaxed and healthy.Â
Late last year Locklear made her acting comeback on Lifetime as disgraced counselor Jodi Hildebrandt, starring alongside Emilie Ullerup in Kevin Fair's recent drama, Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story.
Sources say Locklear has also been taking Ozempic, which, along with suppressing the appetite, also reduces cravings for booze.
Slim, happy and healthy, Locklear's fresh-faced look is a marked turnaround for someone still plagued by demons just two years ago.
