The newly established Slovak-Russian Business Council, meeting in Bratislava, seeks to enhance economic relations and facilitate cooperation between Slovak and Russian businesses.
According to Gennadiy Belousov, the council's chairman and director of Slovlada, many Slovak companies produce goods more in demand in Russia than in the European Union. He highlights a lack of awareness among Slovak firms regarding the significant opportunities available in the Russian market, emphasizing Russia's importance as a strategic partner for Slovakia.
