Liverpool has made a revised £113 million bid for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz. The offer includes £100 million guaranteed and £13 million in add-ons, falling short of Leverkusen's desired £126 million (€150 million).
While negotiations are ongoing, Liverpool is currently unwilling to meet Leverkusen's full asking price. The bid would surpass Liverpool's current transfer record of £85 million (paid for Darwin Núñez). A significant portion (almost 90%) of the offer is guaranteed, unlike many deals with performance-based add-ons.
Wirtz prefers a move to England, rejecting offers from Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Manchester City is now reportedly pursuing Rayan Cherki. Liverpool has also been in contact with Bournemouth regarding left-back Milos Kerkez, and previously acquired Jeremie Frimpong from Leverkusen.

Discussions are clearly fluid and the original offer was for £109million, although it is unclear how much of that was guaranteed. Wirtz is with the Germany squad before Sunday’s third-place Nations League play-off with France in Stuttgart.
