Who are the Death Stranding 2 voice actors? While the long-awaited sequel to the original Death Stranding is set to retain many of its leading lights, some new faces are joining its star-studded cast.
With the Death Stranding 2 release date now locked in, Kojima Productions has dropped more info on the Death Stranding 2 cast list, which looks to dwarf the glitziness of its open-world predecessor. Just like in the original game, the Death Stranding 2 actors not only provide the voice for their characters, but they also performed all the motion capture for their animations. Below you'll find the full Death Stranding 2 cast so far, as well as where you may have seen or heard them before.

Sam Porter Bridges
Norman Reedus returns to the role of Sam Bridges as the game's leading protagonist. Reedus is best known for his role as Daryl in The Walking Dead. He also played Scud in Blade II. We need more crossbow action in DS2, please, Kojima.
Fragile
Fragile returns to the sequel and is played once more by Léa Seydoux, who is best known for her roles as Lady Fenring in Dune Part Two, Madeline in the Bond movies, and Emma in Blue is the Warmest Color.
Higgs Monaghan
Troy Baker marks his return to the Death Stranding sequel, reprising his role as Higgs Monaghan. Baker is a legend in the videogame industry and is best known for his roles as Joel in The Last of Us, Sam Drake in the Uncharted series, and Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite.
Tomorrow
Today is the day you find out Tomorrow is played by Elle Fanning (though you probably already knew this). Fanning is best known for her roles as Aurora in the Maleficent movies, Catherine the Great in The Great, and Alice in Super 8.
Rainy
Shioli Kutsuna takes on the role of Rainy, a new character in Death Stranding 2. Kutsuna is best known for her roles as Yukio in the Deadpool movies, Mitsuki Yamato in Invasion, and Asuka Kunishima in Sanctuary. Hi, Yukio!
Dollman
Dollman is voiced and mocapped by Jonathan Roumie, who is best known for his role as Jesus in The Chosen. Dollman's likeness is based on Turkish-German director Fatih Akin, who is best known for directing In the Fade, Head-On, and Soul Kitchen.
Tarman
Tarman's star man is Marty Rhone, who is best known for his roles as the narrator in Street Fighter 6, Dr. Harry Biggs in Harrow, and Parisa Jamshidi in Wentworth. Tarman's likeness is based on Australian director George Miller, known mainly for producing the Mad Max, Happy Feet, and Babe movies – what a trio.
Heartman
Heartman is once again voiced and mocapped by Darren Jacobs, who is best known for his roles as John Constantine in DC Dark Legion, among other smaller roles in Castlevania Nocturne, No Rest for the Wicked, and more. Heartman's likeness is based on Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn, who fans of the neon-drenched movie Drive will immediately recognize.
The President
Alastair Duncan steps into the shoes of the President. Duncan is best known for his roles as Mimir in God of War, Celebrimbor in the Middle-Earth games, and Alfred in The Batman animated series.
Lucy
Lucy is voiced and mocapped by Alissa Jung, who is best known for her roles in German productions such as Dr. Judith Asmussen in A Matter of Life, Maria in Mary of Nazareth, and Maja in Des Kaisers neue Kleider.
Neil
Luca Marinelli is the voice (and face) behind Neil. The Italian, like his real-world wife Alissa Jung, is best known for domestic roles like Mussolini in Mussolini: Son of the Century and Pietro Guasti in The Eight Mountains. However, he has stepped into English cinema through playing Nicky in The Old Guard.
Interestingly, Kojima said in a 2020 interview that "if he [Marinelli] donned a bandana, he'd be a spitting image of Solid Snake." Suffice it to say, it's no coincidence that Neil can be seen putting one on in the pre-order trailer.
Doctor
The doctor is voiced and mocapped by the iconic Debra Wilson, who is best known among gamers for her roles as Cere Junda in the Star Wars Jedi games, Savathun in Destiny 2, and Harriet Tubman in Civilization 7, though she boasts many other major acting credits.
