Zachary R. Digan, 20, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses stemming from a high-speed police pursuit on April 8th.
The four-mile chase began in Montoursville and ended with Digan crashing his car into a barn in Fairfield Township. The 2017 Nissan Versa, registered to his mother, ended up perpendicular to the barn.
Digan faces felony charges including fleeing police, recklessly endangering another person, and accidents involving damage to attended vehicle (hit and run). He also faces nearly 20 summary offenses.
Following his arraignment, Digan was released on $15,000 bail.
Motorist Zachary R. Digan, 20, of 1507 High St., has been arrested on charges stemming from the four-mile high-speed pursuit with Montoursville police on the night of April 8 that began in the borough and ended when he crashed into a barn on Quaker State Road in Fairfield Township that resulted in the 2017 Nissan Versa he was driving landing perpendicular to the structure, according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Gary Whiteman. Police said Digan fled the scene, but they caught up with him a short time later. The car was registered to his mother, police said. Charged with felony fleeing, recklessly endangering another person, accidents involving damage to attended (hit-run) plus nearly 20 summary offenses. Following his arraignment Friday, Digan was released on $15,000 bail.
