Cause of 52-year-old Brett Lewis’s death at Pig Bush car park, off the B3056 Hatchet Lane in Brockenhurst, ‘unascertained’, inquest at Winchester Coroners’ Court hears


MYSTERY surrounds the death of a 52-year-old man whose body was found in a New Forest car park, an inquest heard.

Brett Lewis, of Lawn Road in Southampton, passed away at Pig Bush car park, off the B3056 Hatchet Lane at Brockenhurst, on 16th June.

A hearing opened at Winchester Coroners’ Court on Monday 14th July was told the preliminary cause was unascertained.

Adjourned, a full inquest is due to be held at the same court on 20th April 2026.
