A Chicago-based cannabis company operating local dispensaries is accused of failing to pay its supplier here for more than $200,000 worth of products.

In a lawsuit filed with St. Louis County Wednesday, Sunrise Beach GP, LLC, a dispensary headquartered in south St. Louis County, said it sold $213,167 worth of cannabis products to various dispensaries under JG Missouri, LLC, which operates as Bloc Dispensary.

Sunrise Beach claims it delivered cannabis products to JG Missouri at Blue Sage Cannabis Deli in Valley Park, Bloc Dispensary in Richmond Heights and Key Cannabis dispensaries in Belton, Kirksville and Farmington, but never received payment for any of the orders.

JG Missouri is accused of breach of agreement, action on account and unjust enrichment.

In February, a different St. Louis-based cannabis company sued JG Missouri, LLC for failing to pay for $148,615 worth of marijuana flower, pre-rolled joints, cartridges and more.

JG Missouri did not immediately respond to multiple requests to comment.
